Life Sciences Graduate Student Receives Award

Ms. Tereza Jezkova, a doctoral student in the laboratory of Dr. Brett R. Riddle’s, received an award for a best student poster presentation at the Fourth International Biogeography Society Conference, which was held in Mérida, Yucatán, México, January 8-12, 2009.
Ms. Jezkova’s poster was entitled Assessing the strengths and limitations of an integrative approach to infer the response of a Great Basin endemic to the Last Glacial Maximum. This award-winning poster can be viewed on the wall adjacent to Room 215 in the Juanita Greer White Hall, on the UNLV Campus.
