Life Sciences graduate students excel at UNLV Graduate & Professional Student Annual Research Forum
On Saturday, March 28th, ten SoLS graduate students (i.e., Daniel L. Curtis, Mallory E. Eckstut, Martin B. Erwin, Xavier A. Glaudas, Derek D. Houston, Adam B. Leland, Stacy J. Mantooth, Lauren A. Reynolds, Christine N. Serway, Michael M. Webber) gave platform and poster presentations at the UNLV Graduate & Professional Student (GPSA) Annual Research Forum. All of these students received research or travel funding from the GPSA during 2007.
Four students were recognized for their oral or poster presentations:
- Mallory E. Eckstut (Rodríguez Lab) – Second Place, Science & Engineering Platform Session
- Derek D. Houston (Riddle Lab) - Honorable Mention, Science & Engineering Platform Session
- Adam B. Leland (Riddle Lab) – First Place, Science and Engineering Poster Session
- Stacy J. Mantooth (Riddle Lab) – Second Place, Science and Engineering Poster Session
Clearly, SoLS graduate students continue to demonstrate that they are among the very best on the UNLV campus.
