
Aaron Payette came from Pacific University in Oregon. He completed an MS degree with me (2000-2003) on the - Thermoregulatory behavior of the crayfish, Procambarus clarki, in a
burrow environment. After a brief period in Oregon he returned to UNLV and now does a great job as our Introductory Biology laboratory co-ordinator.
Jennifer Bernatis came from Fort Hays State University in Kansas. She completed her MS degree in my lab (2003-2005) working on the Behavioural responses of postprandial Dungeness crabs during feeding and digestion in hypoxic conditions. She is currently doing a PhD at the University of Florida.
Daniel Curtis was an undergraduate at the University of Victoria when he worked in my lab on an NSF REU fellowship. He subsequently joined my lab in 2005. He is currently doing a PhD on - Feeding and digestion in crabs in low salinity.

Erin Jensen was an undergraduate at UNLV. She carried out a summer funded NSF REU project on Behavioral and physiological responses of graceful crabs to low salinity at Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre. Erin is currently an MS student at Moss Landing Marine labs.
